Duties:

  • Install stamping die protection systems on new tools according to company standards, including machining, wiring and programming as required
  • Troubleshoot die protection systems in the press to insure proper and effective operation
  • Train press and tool room associates on programming and operating die protection systems
  • Develop and train associates in proper reaction to sensor faults
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts
  • Assist in developing die protection systems that detect and prevent quality issues
  • Assist in developing countermeasures for part and process defects
  • Assist new model development in designing die protection systems that prevent potential quality issues
  • Assist plant maintenance in troubleshooting electrical problems
  • Program press controls and systems to collect pertinent manufacturing data and create reporting for the analysis of the same

Purchasing Specialist – Strongsville, Ohio – 1st Shift

Duties:

  •  Demonstrate safe work habits, promote the safety and wear proper PPE
  • Identify, develop, negotiate and implement vendors for all direct materials and outside processing for North American manufacturing facilities
  • Negotiate or facilitate negotiations of PPARTS, product buys, and steel pricing
  • Cross train with the Production Scheduler on their responsibilities as it pertains to procurement and associated process
  • Actively monitor steel and purchased parts inventory for all North American facilities

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or related field / experience
  • 3 years of Purchasing experience would be a plus

Maintenance Technician – Harlingen, TX – 1st Shift

Duties:

  • Responsible for completion of preventative and predictive maintenance as scheduled for all building, equipment and machinery using eMaint System.
  • Complete corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment and document repairs within eMaint System.
  • Assist production and other departments with troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment, identifying root cause and eliminating the faults, and complete assigned work orders as need it.
  • Complete physical building repairs as needed: Air, water, sprinkler system, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
  • Aptitude using machining equipment: mill, lathe, drill press, etc. and strong welding and fabrication skills.
  • Assist in installation and relocation of new machinery and equipment as required.
  • Order required parts, maintenance equipment, and supplies from outside vendors. Contract outside vendors on larger projects as directed by Manager.
  • Complete minor projects as assigned by Manager and run errands as assigned.
  • Conduct work that complies with Local, State and Federal regulations and work safe and be aware of potential hazards that may affect yourself and other associates. This includes proper use of tools, equipment and following OSHA safety regulations.
  • Use Hot Work Permits where required, while ensuring safe operation of activity.
  • Ensure completion of daily inspection as assigned and participate in annual inspection of hoist and crane.
  • Maintain and ensure all machine guarding is effectively in place at all times.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area and help others to maintain a clean area at all times.
  • Maintain safety equipment schedule of eye wash and fire extinguisher.
  • Clean, maintain and organize the oil storage area.
