Maintenance Technician – Strongsville, OH – 1st Shift

Duties:

  • Responsible for completion of preventative maintenance as scheduled for all equipment.
  • Support engineering with fixture and poke yoke builds – framing – equipment.
  • Assist Production with troubleshooting and repair of assembly equipment.
  • Document and make mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Complete physical plant repairs as needed. Lighting, Plumbing, HVAC, Etc.
  • Conduct work that complies with Local, State and Federal regulations.
  • Use Hot Work Permits where required, while ensuring safe operation of activity.
  • Order required parts, maintenance equipment, and supplies from outside vendors. Contract outside vendors on larger projects as directed by manager.
  • Follow all applicable IATF 16949 processes.
  • Follow all applicable ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and/or program PLC’s.
  • Strong Welding and fabrication skills
  • Aptitude using machining equipment. Mill, lathe, drill press, Etc.

 

Education/Experience/Training:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Welding certification/ Millwright experience
  • 5 years industrial maintenance experience
  • Extensive knowledge of stamping / manufacturing equipment preferred

Duties:

(Shipping Clerk)

  • Complete shipment entry into UseIt and print all paperwork.
  • Attached paperwork to freight per customer requirements.
  • Complete EDI paperwork and print documents for shipments. (Advance Shipping Notice “ASN”)

Production Maintenance Technician – Seville, OH – 3rd Shift

Duties:

  • Communicate with Production Supervisor to understand daily setup and change over schedule.
  • Complete setups and change overs following documented procedures. Prepare and complete all required setup documentation when submitting parts for approval.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of assembly equipment by identifying root cause and eliminating the faults. This includes items such as welders, fixtures, feeders, poke yokes, conveyors, cameras and robots.
  • Maintain and ensure all machine guarding is effectively in place at all times.
  • Utilize data from resistance weld destruct and CMM layouts to make controlled process adjustments to correct weld nonconformance or assembly dimensional nonconformance. This includes but not limited to robot programming, weld schedule adjustment or fixture adjustments.
  • Work with Quality on customer rejects to identify root cause and corrective measures.
  • Responsible for completion of preventative maintenance as scheduled for all equipment using eMaint work order system.
  • Document adjustments for all mechanical and electrical repairs within eMaint.
  • Submit requisitions to maintain inventory levels of all weld and assembly supplies. This will include items such as sensors, cables, shunts, cylinders, fuses and LVDT’s.
  • Work with Engineering to develop, test and document new weld and/or assembly processes.
  • Provide assistance to manufacture customer trial event parts.
  • Document all weld setup parameters and setup instructions for all weld and assembly processes.
  • Implement process improvements with focus on increasing Safety, Quality, OEE and 5S.
  • Work safe and be aware of potential hazards that may affect yourself and other associates. This includes proper use of tools, equipment and following OSHA safety regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area and help others to maintain a clean area at all times.
  • Follow all company policies and guidelines. Follow all safety PPE requirements.

Duties:

  • Responsible for completion of preventative and predictive maintenance as scheduled for all building, equipment and machinery using eMaint System.
  • Complete corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment and document repairs within eMaint System.
  • Assist production and other departments with troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment, identifying root cause and eliminating the faults, and complete assigned work orders as need it.

  • Complete minor projects as assigned by Manager and run errands as assigned.
  • Conduct work that complies with Local, State and Federal regulations and work safe and be aware of potential hazards that may affect yourself and other associates. This includes proper use of tools, equipment and following OSHA safety regulations.
  • Use Hot Work Permits where required, while ensuring safe operation of activity.
  • Ensure completion of daily inspection as assigned and participate in annual inspection of hoist and crane.
  • Maintain and ensure all machine guarding is effectively in place at all times.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area and help others to maintain a clean area at all times.
  • Maintain safety equipment schedule of eye wash and fire extinguisher.
  • Clean, maintain and organize the oil storage area.
